MORES markets itself as highly‐professional consultants specialized in environmental sciences and engineering, including the management of natural resources; wastewater and solid waste, environmental assessment (Audits, IEE, EIA, SEA, etc.), control and remediation of pollution; environmental and regulatory
compliance, reclamation of open waste dumps into a green public space, master planning solid waste and wastewater management, completing sector studies in agriculture and fishery, developing ecotourism projects, completing feasibility studies and environmental economics, institutional strengthening, capacity building, awareness campaigning and community development projects.
MORES is registered, qualified and recognized in Lebanon as a consulting firm by the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) on project with budgets exceeding 20 million US dollars, and by the Ministry of Environment.

Founder’s Background
The principal founder, Raji Maasri, had prior to 2001 managed an environmental and water resource company, designed and managed the reclamation of the Normandy area along the coastal spread of Beirut Central District (covering the former waste dump), and worked as an environmental consultant for seven years in the United States mainly managing industrial and petroleum pollution assessment, remediation (soil and groundwater), and abatement projects.

With a team ranging from senior staff with over 20 years of international project management experience to junior scientists and field personnel, MORES has built a strong reputation in institutional strengthening, capacity building, and community development. The firm actively fosters community participation and stakeholder engagement through public involvement and awareness campaigns, ensuring client and donor requirements are met.
Regional Operations and Collaborations
MORES primarily operates in the MENA region, completing municipal development works funded by UNDP, EU, World Bank, Lille Metropole, GIZ, AFD, SCO, USAID, and others.
Regional projects like the METAP Regional Solid Waste Management Project and the Euro-Med Transport Policy project were performed in collaboration with European counterparts; the Outreach project (Master- planning Infrastructure and development of Programmatic elements) for Thuwal as extension to KAUST (King Abdallah University for Science and Technology) was completed in collaboration with HOK for the benefit of ARAMCO; and the World Bank managed COED and CCZED project in Syria has been completed in partnership with EY (Ernst and Young ), Paris.
Funding and Donor Involvement
In all its endeavors, MORES staff operate with a spirit of partnership and transparency, upholding the values of integrity and trust. MORES personnel have supported missions and secured funding from donors to advance local development, capacity building, and institutional strengthening projects. The firm has successfully executed municipal development initiatives with funding from Europe Aid, the World Bank, Lille Metropole Urban Community (as part of decentralized cooperation), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
When external funding is necessary, MORES collaborates closely with clients to engage potential donors. This is achieved through the meticulous preparation of studies and the completion of comprehensive technical dossiers.
